In my launchpad vlp files I want to add the line
'chcp 850'
In order to set the codepage to multilingual.
Should this go in the config.sys bit or the autoexec bit, or does it not matter?
chcp is a program, so it should be put in your AUTOEXEC.NT/AUTOEXEC.VDMS file.

This is for LEC Quick And Easy.
Previously some users needed to change the codepage or the keys in lec games wouldnt work, so of course adding chcp 850 to the .bat file used to launch the game would fix this.
With the new version ive switched to launchpad .vlp files as vlad suggested but i'll still need to have the chcp somewhere, id just presumed that autoexec or config in the vlp file would be where it went.
Yes, it should be the AUTOEXEC section in the VLP. 😀

I try to play harvester, and the game runs, after it sayz that "insert cd 1", but i have the cd inside, and the thing that sez "uncoment the line ..."in the autoexec file, i don't understand it. please help me !!!
Um...wow. Talk about an old thread to bring up a completely unrelated question in. Please try again with a NEW thread.
But since you asked, when it says 'uncomment', it means you need to open up the .BAT file with Notepad and then delete the "REM" before the line that it tells you to uncomment.
