I have a quick question about editing vdms.ini. The section where I can edit the Sample rate for SB16 and Adlib, could I set like a custom sample rate (like 32000 or 37000, instead of the standard 44100 or 22050)?

Well, I would like to try something like that because I might get slightly better sound quality with a slight faster speed than 44100. Or perhaps 16000 (I think I could use this as it works when I use Zsnes), not as good as 22050 but it could be just a bit faster...

At this point in time, these are the valid sample rates you can use (of course, most cards currently (and probably in the future) only support up to 48kHz, but I'm listing everything my card reports it can do 😀):

6000Hz
8000Hz
11.025kHz
16kHz
22.05kHz
32kHz&&&&&<- this is what television broadcasts are at
44.1kHz&&&&&<- this is what CD recordings are at
48kHz&&&&&<- this is what the NTSC specification reports that signals on television are, but they really aren't 😜
64kHz
88.2kHz
96kHz&&&&&<- this is what Dolby Digital EX/THX EX/DTS EX are recorded at
192kHz&&&&&<- this can probably be heard by bats 😉

Yes, it’s my fault.
