Hello,

Can somebody please help me out here? I have problems with screen tearing in DOS games. In windows, i can enable something called Vertical Sync via my video card drivers. This clears up any screen tearing in WIndows games. However, when I have this option enabled and run a dOS game through VDMS, I still see the screen tearing when I scroll the screen from side to side...I have tried different Monitor Refresh rate, 60Hz, 70Hz, 72Hz, 75Hz, 85Hz but it doesnt seem to make a difference. Is there a way to enable Vertical Sync for DOS games when running the game via VDMS? I've even tried the NOLFBLIM program but it doesnt seem to make a difference.

Also, how can I set the Resolution and Colors (e.g. 16 bit, 32 bit, 256 colors) to use for a particular game through VDMS? I dont see any option for this...

All replies will be greatly appreciated 😉

try this: http://unirefresh.demonews.com/
It requires a VESA 3 compliant card tho.

As for the colors....The game uses what it's designed to use. So if there's an option in the game to adjust colors then you use that.
