I have both the Floppy and CD Versions of Red Baron, and I used VDMSound with the floppy version to great success (great Soundblaster sound and awesome speed too).

However, I want to use the CD Version because it has the Mission Builder addon - but if I install it in Windows and then use VDMSound (with the same settings as the Floppy version), it is fine in menus etc., but is stuttery/sluggish during missions.

I have tried "cap dos timer frequency" and "reduce CPU usage" to no avail - they make it worse.

Anyone know what could be the problem here?
