Then its because of buggy emulation. GoSierra never touched the adlib driver (!). It only patches the DAC driver.

Nothing personal, just reporting what results I saw from that particular configuration. IOW, I was recommending use of the original driver just for DosBox .50
Your patching utility is quite appreciated. It appears that KQ5 has other issues beyond the typical DOS Sierra title.
