Hi there,

First, sorry about making grammar or other lexical mistakes, english isn't my usual speaking^^

Ok, i've been trying to play Discworld 2 on XP first, thing that is now done 😀
but i would be happy if i could play it on my "old portable computer" (too old for XP and not enought for old games...^^).

I tried the same way that i used for XP, ("How to run Discworld II on Windows XP" by krmchp topic) but when launching the game unsing "run with VDMsound" as usual, it stops at some VESA problems :

"Failed to find a valid VESA video mode
You may be able to correct this by installing a software VBE (VESA BIOS Extension) driver

Discworld needs a VESA driver for super VGA. Please consult the manual"

So i watched some topics and i learned that it should "enable basic VESA support" with VDMsound to counter this problem, but there isn't any option like that in version 2.0.4 of VDMsound (and in the topic where i read this, the version used is the 2.10 that i can't find anywhere but on this forum, but i can't download it for unknown reasons...).

Please help me, and more of that, be understanding, because i'm newbie with computer stuff, and with english language too^^

Thx a lot for your answers
