Hello everybody,
I'm new and I got a VDM problem with Tomb Raider 1.
I must say that time ago I installed an played it without problems in my
computer with XP SP2. Now I got a new installation, a bit tweaked and
updated and I'm not able to play TR1. I followed the guide from tombraiderschronicles.net and tombraiders.net, I installed glidos, tr advanced installer vdmsound 2.1 and when I try to play I receive this message:

16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

VDMS Launchpad - tomb
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:0000 IP 0077 OP:f0 37 05 10 02 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

I checked autoexec.nt, config.nt and command.com and they are OK.
Anyone can help me
Thank you a lot

(My computer is a Packard Bell Imedia 8412 with motherboard Asus,
Processor AMD Athlon Dual core 4200+, video card nVidia Geforce 7300 SE,
1024 RAM, Sound Board Realtek HD. OS is Windows XP professional with SP2 with all the updates avalaible today. The game is Tomb Raider 1, and I
can't play it with glidos, nor voodoo, nor otherwise.)

Thank you, Kaminari,
I haven't had the time to try your advise, I'll do asap, but I have
found my flaw: the video drivers. I updated them and all works
great.
This maybe can be useful to somebody.
