Greetings,

I'm trying to get a joystick working with VDMS, but the game does not see any controller. Joystick emulation is enabled in VDMS, and I've tried several of the other modes, but I'm not sure what else to do.

I'm running VDMS with Carmageddon Hi-Octane on Windows XP with Glidos.

Is there any documentation for VDMS joystick emulation?

I had the same problem. Go to control panel > printers and other hardware > game controllers. After setting up your joystick and calibrating it, click advanced. It will ask you what device you want to use on older games, click on the drop down menu and select your joystick.

My joystick suddenly stopped working for Wolfenstien and Blake Stone. This fixed it.

When I clicked on the advanced button, mine had "none" selected for "use for older games."
