i have the talkie version of indy 4 and im trying to get vdmsound to work with it.. well the voice seems to work but for some reason the music doesnt. its configured to use soundblaster but when i play the game the music comes out the pc speaker.. whats up with that?
any ideas?

Do you get *any* sound? have you used "Run with VDMSound" from Explorer? Do any other games work with VDMSound with sound on your system (i.e. do you have something like giveio.sys installed on your machine)?

I have that problem too but when I use Roland music it works okay.

OK, then maybe the game has a problem with SB music. Try Roland or AdLib (!) music. I think speech works no matter what music you select.
