Hi,
I've got DOTT cd version and used it with VDMSound (on win2000), it sound gr8, but soemtimes, after the speech is finished the game is kinda hanged but i've find out that if i save the game in that point and load it again (without getting out of the game) it continues ok (until the next tiem it hanged)/ It looks like the game is waiting for the audio device to report that the speech is finished or something like that.

have anyone else had this problem too?

Run it with a buffer of 50
Eg a s220/7/50

But i fond something else that helps, Pressing the > key.
Usually, it breaks the current voice segment and moves to the next one, so when the computer hangs, i press this key and the game continues from the place it stopped.

ah, thats cos your comp is too fast.

you can sort it out with a patch on lucasarts website.

similar thing happens to me on Indy 4, it also has a patch but doesnt seem to work 🙁

If you use that command to run DOTT after doing the file mixnmatch detailed here then it`ll run fine.

'Unregistered' you can improve the running of Fate Of Atlantis by running it with a bigger buffer eg
atlantis.exe a s220/7/64
