Processor type and speed: AMD Athlon XP 1.8+ 1,7Ghz
Amount and type of RAM: 512 DDR
Video board w/ RAM amount and type: GeForce FX5600XT 256MB RAM
Sound board: CMedia-AC97
Operating system: WinXP
Game name: Dime City all Versions
Description of problem: The Sound goes (sound etc.) well until "Beaming to Dime City" appears, after that, the game freezes
Reproducibility of problem: always
Sound mode used: doesn't matter
Video mode: ??? 256colours DOS mode
Version of emulator: VDMSound 2.0.4

The game doesn't freeze in WinXP without VDMSound

Try disabling EMS in launchpad, or running VDMSound manually if you don't have launchpad (if run manually, i.e. dosdrv.exe and whatever_game.exe in one regular DOS box, there is no EMS).

The game still freezes...

But thx for the help

maybe it helps if I tell you what should be seen then...

There should be a 2D house like in MADTV with music and some characters but the sound freezes (the game hangs up without sound, too) and the only thing I can see is the mouse courser...
