CPU: 2.4Ghz intel Q6600 G0 stepping @ 3.35Ghz overclock [395x9 & 1.5v]
Mainboard: XFX 680iLT @ 1580 FSB
RAM: G.Skill DDR2-1000 (2x2GB) @ 790Mhz 4-4-3-8-1T
GPU: eVGA 8800GT 512MB @ 680 Core, 1750 Shader, 985 RAM
Powersupply: CoolerMaster 750 Watt Real Power Pro
Sound: Realtek High Definition Audio (HDA) [on mainboard]
OS: winXP home, patched and current
vdmsound version: vdmsound dos loader 2.01 (aug 4 2001)

Hello, I have not been able to get glidos to work. I have tried with carmageddon CARMAV.EXE and blood 3DFX.EXE. I unpacked the blood archive on your site and used that version.

for CARMAV.EXE i get this error:
TOMB
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:0000 IP:046a OP:f0 ff 17 e0 15

for blood 3DFX.EXE i get this error:
TOMB
The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction.
CS:9e48 IP:3a18 OP:63 07 00 00 00

I have tried:
running with sound disabled, does not help
tried using vdos32 and get many unimplemented int errors
tried to read the readme mentioned in the sticky topic, but there isnt one.

I haven't had Blood work here for some time. It's not a change in Glidos. Something has changed in XP or in recent video drivers, I think.

Carmageddon was still ok, I thought. I shall try it here. Wont get a chance until Sun evening. I was close to getting VDos32 to support Carmageddon; I'm hoping that will work out eventually.
