Hello !!

I have a WINXP SP1
I installed TR 1 normally - it didn't work

So, i used the installer you suggested to download
It installed Tr 1 really nicely - but I have a problem

My CD Burner is letter H
My CD Reader is letter I

I would like to use my CD Reader to play the game,
because of the analog cabel between the reader and the soundcard
(I wanna hear the audio music, too)

But, when I would like to start the game from Glidos,
it says, put something into drive H

And there is no any possibility to set between
the two drives
Any idea?

THX!!

I need to play the game in Drive I, because
the CD Burner hasn't analog cable, and I played
the digital playback - it was terrible with a lot of noises

I tried to play any audio CD's with digital playback,
and that was very bad

Hi Ragehu,

It's a general Windows problem. Whatever the drive you put your disc in, Glidos looks for the first CD drive available in your system and finds your Burner at H.

You could simply invert the letters of your drives: configure your Reader as H and your Burner as I. This way, you won't have to mess around with your connections and your Reader will appear to the system as the first CD drive in your chain.

And the message should be taken literally: you don't have to put your TR CD in drive H; any CD whatsoever will do.

But, on the other hand, I think TR will refuse to play the CD audio unless the CD is in the lowest CD drive, so no gain there.

Why not just use just use Disk Management portion of "Computer Management" tool (under "Administrative Tools" within the Control Panel) to change your "Burner" drive to I: and your plain CD-ROM to drive H:

You will have to make one of the drives temporarily to something else other than H or I as you can't choose a drive letter already in use.
