I have a Pentium 4 MPC computer with NVIDIA GeForce PCX 5750 Video card.
I followed the directions on installing TR to a tee and used the install wizard. I finished everything and when I use Glidos to try to play the game I get the error message:
________________________________________________________________
Glidos
C:\WINDOWS.O\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT.The system file is not suitable for
running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
________________________________________________________________

and the game won't start.

What is wrong????

I then got this reply:

Search the forum for "The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications" and all shall be revealed!!

I did the search and could find no threads that had anything to do with my problem.
I also got this reply.

I tried that thread and it did nothing but confuse me but did not answer my question.
Now my thread is locked and I can't reply and ask for follow up nor can anyone else reply to my question.
How can I get Glidos to work on my system?

Replace AUTOEXEC.NT and CONFIG.NT in your WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder for the ones inside WINDOWS\REPAIR - Some malware (or even windows update) destroy them.
