Tum-te-tum-te-tum. 🙄 To be honest, I'm really not sure. My belief, by inspecting the code, was, as I wrote in my ReadMe:
"The Music Volume option in the menu does not work, except to disable the CD audio if set to 0."
But I don't totally remember the details. I think I tested it briefly after deducing it from the code, and it indeed didn't work. I certainly saw a routine that set the drive volume, but as far as I recall, it appeared that it was never called. Instead, at the places where you would expect it to be called, there were calls to a null routine.
And I think I may well have overwritten that unused volume-setting routine with my own code in my music patch...
Glidos could say for certain whether there were any calls to set the volume, as he's intercepting them all. 😉
