I don't think F1 makes any difference with the voodoo version of TR1. I believe it always runs at 640x480. Glidos then scales up to whatever resolution you set with the "Adjust" button. The scaling works pretty well, although you do see things juggle slightly because TR1 provides polygon coordinates accurate only to the nearest 640x480 pixel.
