Hey,

I downloaded the latest version of GliDOS, the Carmageddon 3dfx patch and VDM Sound. All installed, and GliDOS finds and launches Carmageddon via CARMAV.EXE no problem... but as soon as the dos screen appears i get "Couldn't open general settings file".

Can't quite understand this, because everything is installed right... any ideas?

P.S. using Windows XP pro

That sounds familiar. Have a look if any of the config files (only the text ones) mention a K: or H: drive. If so edit to be C:

One game that Glidos supports needs this under XP. Can't remember which.
