When playing the game natively on 3dfx hardware there's a shadow underneath Lara. This isn't present with Glidos on my system. Is this what the "shadow hack" setting on the "Extras" tab is meant to do? It's ticked on by default but I couldn't see any difference with it un-ticked (Direct3D or OpenGL).
The shadow looks pretty lame and is non-essential to the gameplay, but I was just wondering where it was.
