But in dgvoodoo it looks indeed more like on software, but does it look correct? It looks strange in my opinion. In software mode it looked rather ok, but with dgvoodoo it looks just strange... as if colors were wrong (even with gamma 100%)
Yes, I think remembering Tomb Raider with a Voodoo1 / 2 looked exactly like Glidos or other glide wrapper, but if you look at Tomb Raider 2 You will notice that it looks much more colorful and contrasting that the Tomb Raider 1 with 3d patch. Even the playstation version of the first game is also more vivid colors and brighter image than the PC version with the glide patch.

I am looking for a quality image like this:

http://i.imgur.com/uWRt4.jpgI'm really confused now: those images that you say are what you want are from Glidos using a texture pack.
Yes, this would be my desired result with Glidos and texture pack.
In my opinon with texture pack would look better if you could play with color and higher contrast as in the PSX version!
wrote:sorry that was a result of using D3D textures bit depth 16-bit.
Oh well, so software mode looks like 16-bit cause it is 16-bit and that is why it looks different 😀

I do not know, that's why I asked you.
The question is, is possible in the future that Glidos has a chance to change the contrast and color of the image as dgvoodoo?
Thank you both, especially you Glidos.
