..as this seems stupid since i only own 1 version of Tomb raider-1 an its the one eidos had re-released on the soldout label, so wot do i do to make glidos work properly???

The standard installed version of tomb.exe is the software engine, it certainly won't work with Glidos. What you need is the Glide version for 3dfx cards (Voodoo). Either it's located in a special directory on your Sold Out edition (I'm not familiar with that one) or you'll have to get the right executable from the Net. Eidos France is a good start.
Just back up your original tomb.exe and copy the new one in your TR folder.
In your glidos folder there's a subdirectory docs, why didn't you look inside?
