In St. Francis' Folly (Level 5) of Tomb Raider, the lightning in the 'Thor' room is black under my Glidos setup. Running the game without Glidos, the lightning is white as expected.

As far as I can tell, all other graphical bits & bobs are fine.

Is this likely to be a driver/video card problem, as my system is not exactly state of the art ? 😊

BTW, my system is:
Pentium 4 - 1.7GHz
SiS 650 integrated graphics processor.
SiS Driver Version: 6.14.10.3631
Windows XP (SP2)
Glidos v1.30

I would suggest a cheap-ass nVidia graphics card, if not for this, just for the fact that SiS is shit. 😀

Yes, that's a SiS problem. Which version of Glide2x.dll are you using, the one that comes with Glidos, or the one from the "Red Baron" page?

Try replacing the one in c:\Program Files\Glidos with the one from the Red Baron page. Its an older version that supports lower versions of OpenGL.

Nope, still got black lightning 😜

Must put new Video Card on shopping list right after more Memory and Hard Disk Storage (when I get some more income that is) 😖

Hang on. Try deleting SETTINGS.DAT. That can cure a problem where the lightening is not visible at all.
