every few minutes sprites (like life leech alt-fire) go into the floor for a few seconds, its annoying but I dont think its worth fixing and it might just be my graphics card

Dont bother fixing this you have worked hard enough on blood already

Sounds like it isn't Blood specific though. If it happens with v008a3 of OpenGLide but not earlier versions them it may be a bug introduced during speed optimisations.

That's not it - sometimes fixing one game's issue will break another. Sometimes reimplementing a function in a faster, better way may break compatibility. It all interacts. The more you fix, though, hopefully the less you'll see this happening.

Why not fine someone to test all the games that work on 1.19 and see if they all work (I know grand theft auto still works)

I tested v0.08 full release of openglide, all it did for me was make performance suffer

Compared with which other version(s), and in which games?
This is exactly the sort of thing Fabio needs to know about. It is also well worth checking by going back to the old version. Sometimes you can get a performance hit by coincidence with another change in your system.
