I know the people here are familiar with this app. I haven't had the chance to try it because it doesn't work with descent 2 out but according to what people have to say on other forums it is faster than Glidos.

The author of dgVoodoo posted some stuff on the board some months ago and I thought he had a different approach. Is there any chance that the author of dgVoodoo wants to swap some code with Paul for a faster Glidos in the future.

According to my experience, dgVoodoo is not faster than Glidos -- dgVoodoo's Glide wrapper library is actually a bit slower than OpenGlide by a couple of fps, and displays some strange slow motion behaviour in complex scenes (tested with TR1 Gold). But it sure has been improving, especially on NT systems.

I quote Kaminari. I can say that imho dgvoodoo is slower than openglide but more accurate. Some games work only with dgvoodoo (Carmageddon 1 for sure) but this game has serious slowdowns in some stages/situations (like Kaminari said about Tr1 gold)
