New video: The Art of Manhunter http://youtu.be/W964d6G7LzA
A timelapse of Manhunter backgrounds being drawn from AGI picture format set to Dune 2 music.
It always impressed me how good those games looked in comparison to other AGI games. It didn't hurt that they were weird as hell too.

And here's another Russian game that was lost in time:
MadSpace, a strange (and hardcore) non-Euclidean fps from Maddox Games that supported VR glasses, speech recognition & multiplayer up to 16 players. Demo download included:

Recently put up a new podcast with a Russian retro guru Dmitry Bachilo about DOS multiplayer. Not much of the actual technology or games ended up being covered, instead it's a bunch of fun Russia-specific stories: http://www.dosnostalgia.com/?p=463

Also just uploaded the complete AdLib soundtrack to Coktel Vision's Inca: http://www.dosnostalgia.com/?p=468

Cool, I always liked the adlib renditions over the CD and console versions.

Was a bit all over the place with the stuff, it's such a broad topic. Anyway it's edited nicely but i guess it's a geek podcast only.

Huge thanks to Anatoly.

Huge thanks to Anatoly.

Listen through the whole thing, no sweat 😀 In some parts it really shows your passion for sound devices, but had you elaborated more on video and cpu and I'd kept on listening for hours. Thanks man
