1000 subscribers thank you

I started this channel at the end of September 2014, and today, not quite a year later, my channel has 1000 subscribers!

This might not be a big number to many, but it is a big number to me. Thank you for your support in watching my videos and hopefully I can continue making lots more videos in the future.

Phil

That's awesome man. Congrats! 😁

Sitting on 600-odd myself, really itching to get back in to the videos after my... er... life events.

Also I subscribed your youtube channel and I watched almost all your movies, thanks for making movies with Pentium IV 😀 I hope you make more with Pentium IV platform and more with Athlon64 and one Athlon64 at Socket939. And your Dosbox guides helped me very much with other games, I used your settings on first Blood and that game run far better on my rig.

The DreamBlaster X1!

Join me in this comprehensive review and demonstration of a brand new General MIDI wavetable board, created by Serdaco, a small company in Belgium.

In this review I will provide an overview of the board, the dimensions, how it fits on popular sound cards. We will look at pricing, options, the jumpers, what they do, and much more.

There recordings are used to demonstrate the functionality: What you hear is what you get. Towards the end are DOS game recordings including Doom II, Duke Nukem 3D, Wing Commander: Privateer, Raptor, Descent, Descent II, Leisure Suit Larry 6, Space Quest 5 and Sam and Max!

So sit back, relax, grab a coffee, tee, beer, or whatever you are into, and enjoy this video!

Cool. I bought one of those too, probably from the same seller. Mine is still sealed. After looking for a 1000MHz / 100 MHz FSB Slot 1 P3 for months (at a reasonable price), I found 3 within a couple of weeks of one another.

One of my favorite CPUs of all time. Just wish the stock fan weren't so loud.

(Oops...just noticed that your P3 video was not your most recent.)

98lite review - Is it worth getting?

This is a review of 98lite, a tool that can remove selectable components from Windows 98 and promises to free up storage space, increase boot times and boost general performance.

Having installed 98lite, as well as regular Windows 98, on the same machine, using the same settings, programs and drivers, I will be compare them side by side.

I will be looking at disk space used, boot times, performance in games as well es general responsiveness.

Computer uses is a Pentium 100 MHz, 64 MB Ram, Nvidia GeForce FX5200 and Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold.

Thanks for the benchmarks here. I was always interested in the software, and wondered what sort of impact it actually had on performance. There may be a few other areas that would see greater improved performance. For instance I'd guess virus-scans complete significantly faster with the reduced installs. I'd guess most people using this today are probably more concerned with the additional simplicity of these installs than with performance (i.e. missing the days when you'd knew what every file in a Win 3.1 install did).
