Here's a little 1-hour DOS game hack: LuminDOS, a Lumines Clone for MS-DOS, using text mode + PC Speaker sound: https://thp.itch.io/lumindos

Use DOSBox or a real PC (>= 80386). In DOSBox, you might need to up your CPU cycles (Ctrl+F12).

This is a super quick implementation and not optimized in any way. Would love to convert this to VGA + Adlib sound (with different sound tracks and visual themes?), but alas, free time is as always in short supply.

Seems outdated already. And you're supposed to leave the LuminDOS Itch page up but you accidentally deleted it!
