That discussion is five years old. I can barely see the point of dosfreak adding that link but there is point in taking this doscussion up again...

Zomg I finally fell for the thread necro trick!! 😵
The Voodoo 1; isn't it 3D only and you're still required to have a proper display card for output? Getting the thing to work on current Windows versions sounds nifty.
Anyways, I just saw this thread and it made me laugh. If the majority of people coding enjoy a piece of hardware, cool! IT's akin to me making a pizza for myself, offering you a slice after I'm full and you complain about the toppings.

with these drivers you can use voodoo 1 and voodoo 2 in win7 64-bit
all you need is run win in "test unsigned drivers mode"
you can do that by F8 when start
or automate it
bcdedit.exe /set TESTSIGNING ON
you also need to use "Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider" to sign
C:\windows\System32\drivers\fxvoodoo.sys
and here is voodoo2 .inf for the lazy ones 😉
I enclose what looks to be the win9x drivers that contain the latest glide2x.ovl that works in pure dos. Any later drivers have glide2x.ovl that works only in windows.
