Hi guys, I just came back from a local eletronics/gadgets/stuff store and I saw the Northland trilogy of Realms of Arcania on a DVD. It states that it runs on Vista 32/64 and needs DX9. I assumed they only remastered the music but they also state that they added 10 new character classes.
Did anyone try it out yet?
First time I hear about that... got any links from a website? I have the old DOS games they are a pain to run them, they have too many bugs (if you have 32+MB of ram for example) 🤣
GOG also has them if you are interested....

The only thing I can find is the bundled 1 + 2 together on Gog's site.
However after doing a further google search I came across this forum post from back in 2007.

Strange... I could have sworn I already answered again to this topic. It looks like its a german-only release with the name "Heldenedition 2011". According to this german forum:

-the game is exactly the same as it was, its just combined with a dosbox and packed on a DVD with not 10 new classes, but 10 pre-made characters (which is a fail, ofc, since the point of the game is to create your own...). So basically - false alarm. Nothing new after all.
I thought a major drawback to the GOG version was the lack of music from the CD versions. Or did that get fixed?
