Here's a little tool I wrote. I call it MIDI Commander 😀

All it does is send MIDI data from the command line or a plain text file. I wrote it to enable the A/D input and set effect parameters on XR385 / DB60XG sound cards, but it can be used for anything really; from sending a long list of SysEx data to playing a few notes from the command line.

Run without arguments to find out how to use it, and see the .CFG files for a list of built-in commands.

Little update here, I made a Google Code project for this. A bit overkill for such a simple program, maybe, but I hope this will make it easier to find and keep track of updates.

I see the version in this thread has been downloaded 115 times already... It has one serious bug and I would recommend anyone using it to update to the latest version.
