TFix now includes the unofficial patch so yep Thief1/Gold are supported!

I tried TFix 1.11 with Thief Gold,

First I got a program fail dialog at startup (offset: 001203fa) with both the patched and unpatched game. I eventually traced it to the contents of the file "install.cfg". After fixing that, the patched game ran fine and I played a few levels without problems. Let me just note that here for reference.

One 'bug' I noticed with TFix 1.11 is that there is no text beneath the weapons and items in the HUD in any resolution above 1024x768.
Edit: fixed with "d3d_disp_scaled_2d_overlay 640 480" in cam_ext.cfg

The patch obviously enables higher resolutions, 32-bit color, and removes multi-core CPU related issues.

These work great.

I tested Thief2 and System Shock 2 on a fairly recent System (Sandy Bridge with Win7 64Bit) and my trusty IBM T43 with WinXP.

The only issue I had was the list of available resolutions which didn't detect the maximum available resolution of both systems. However, editing the configuration file with the proper resolution manually did the trick.

Time for another playthrough of System Shock 2 I guess 😀

Most of the new game options added through these patches have to be configured externally through a configuration file. :P

But, that said, being able to play System Shock 2 on my main system at 1920x1080 resolution with a UI that's actually big enough to read is awesome! :3
