nGlide 0.92 now with Glide3 support!

Get it from here, not tried it yet myself:

The gallery shows a good number of Glide games working: http://www.zeus-software.com/galleries/nglide

Interesting, I wonder how well it works with Diablo 2 compared to Sven's wrapper (http://www.svenswrapper.de/english/index.html). I'd use Diablo 2's Direct3D renderer, but there are a couple bugs in it that are annoying.

Had a go with Diablo 2 on a 7800gs+ the other day, didn't notice any bugs but I didn't really play for long. The game looked a lot better than I recall it used to in directx. What bugs did you have?

Think I'll try this wrapper, though I'll be sad if it means I don't need these voodoo cards I ended up collecting a few years ago 😁 .

Off the top of my head I can only remember that once you complete a certain quest in the jungle chapter, there's an item (dagger or something?) floating on a pedestal in town. With the Direct3D renderer, the item is not visible (I guess because it gets rendered behind the blue orb instead of on top of it?). Looks correct with a Glide wrapper though.

Redguard is so good it is probably worth it, but not now there's a free option. I think Redguard works with Gulikoza's original release (using OpenGlide).

I wonder what the problem is with nGlide and Blood. The slowness cant be due to x86 emulation because Glidos in DOSBox mode runs ok.

I am surprised about their SVN builds of dosbox being that much faster. Or were they using 0.72 based builds before..

Has anyone tested this with the most recent Wine builds?
Older versions of nGlide didn't work properly in Wine, meaning that there was no actual hardware acceleration visible when running Win9X games in Glide mode.

Sweet! I love using the real hardware, but NGlide is a must-download on my laptop.

I wrote a simple api hook to force nGlide to use ini files instead of the registry for whoever may be interested.

With this, individual configurations may be kept 'per application' and also game specific patches can be made.

I'll post i in a minute...

here it goes...

Not sure but i think you may need
MS visual c++ 2008
MSVCR90.DLL
