Yeah, lame name but it works.

I remember when BG2 came out and wanting to go back to BG1. Unfortunately BG1 still looked as crappy as when it first came out and only more so now that BG2 was out. So I searched the internet and searched...and searched for some sort of conversion for BG1 to the BG2 engine. Alas, none was to be found.

Fast forward from 1998? to DEC 2003.

Me. Sitting at work ignoring annoying phone calls, surfing the net when I happen to come across a post mentioning BG1 on BG2. Could it be? I click on the link. It errors out! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I quickly do a search for a couple of key words I noice and again they error out! AAAAARRRRRRRRRGGHHHH! I then give up and go home 'cause I sure as heck am not staying at work....not even for BG!

I come back in the next morning and the link works! Hooray! Unfortunately I cannot test it because I need to pack to visit my parent's for Christmas. 🙁 So here I am. I just tried it out and it works! It works GREAT!

Attached is the screenshot that I took.

Now all we need is all the Baldur's Gates converted into the NWN engine with a prequel, a couple more expansions and stuck on one DVD and we'd be set!
