That is a cool little doo-dad I must say 😎

I personally don't own any of these having collected a few old school wavetable options before these arrived on the scene, but it's great to know that a decent wavetable device can be reliably sourced these days.

I see some of this guy's products listed by Chinese sellers on eBay which is interesting - I wonder if they've cloned them? That would be a dubious honor.

Thanks, Phil. Great selection of music. 😀 And a very nice midi module for the price. My favorite part was of you trying to find where to plug it in on the AWE64. 🤣

Please forgive/excuse my ignorance. What's the point of using the DreamBlaster with a card like the AWE64 Gold? With 4mb of RAM, couldn't you just load the DreamBlaster's soundfont bank into the AWE64 to replicate it exactly?

The AWE series cards are limited to version one soundfonts (SBK files) under DOS and require an ugly TSR to make it work.

So what happened is he sold them in bulk to someone else for for re-sale. But they are from Serdaco, so legit products.

The P2 video is nice (and I kept my eye on that racing game, seems like fun 🤣!). But I did want to point out that 300MHz Deschutes CPUs were made, but perhaps these were released later (too lazy to look up the release dates)?

Or maybe I just missed something. I do like the tips you give, most of them are fairly easy to miss and following your tips will surely save people a lot of hassle down the road 😀

Enjoyed. I smell a celeron 300a review on the horizon. 😉

I agree! Phil, you gotta overclock it 450mhz and compare to a Pentium II. That was what everyone was doing back in 1998/1999. People were going crazy for this overclock!
