This thing has incredible performance for the power draw. About the same as R9 290x while drawing half the power. It is also manufactured on a half length card instead of a full length one to fit small cases. I might get one to replace my R9 280x to save money on electricity and to keep the room a little cooler. The R9 280x makes my room unbearably hot after about an hour of hard gaming. 🤣

Did you try using a box fan on the highest setting? I find it really helps.

I have one of those mini-GTX970s instead: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page … spx?pid=5252#ov
Not quite as fast as the Nano, but a lot cheaper, and according to the reviews, it's even slightly better in terms of power draw and noise. And with HDMI 2.0 support too, if you want to connect it to a 4k TV.

Has R9 Fury/Nano WinXp drivers?

Asus P4P800 SE/Pentium4 3.2E/2 Gb DDR400B,
Radeon HD3850 Agp (Sapphire), Catalyst 14.4 (XpProSp3).
Voodoo2 12 MB SLI, Win2k drivers 1.02.00 (XpProSp3).

haha don't even count on xp support in 2015 hardware. XP was dropped several Radeons ago.

Almost all Rx 2xx and Rx 3xx are remastered HD7xxx/HD8xxx. Two exceptions are R9 290/290X and R9 Fury/Nano.
This was the reason for this question.

I'm waiting for next year / die shrink to upgrade from my GTX660 😀

But I like seeing small / compact cards. It's a bit silly launching energy efficient cards like the 960 and then slapping 3 coolers on it so it looks more substantial.

The Nano is a very fascinating card, indeed. Very small (less than six inches wide), a TDP of only 175W, and doesn't get any hotter than 75 degrees at maximum load. Too bad the outrageous price and limited stock of available cards make this a bit of a disappointment. It kinda makes me worry about how HBM (High Bandwidth Memory) is going to affect future performance and availability of video cards in the future, since both NVIDIA and AMD plan on using HBM for their next generation of GPU's. And judging on the current Fury X/Fury/Nano stock right now, it only amplifies this problem significantly.

That said, I can easily see Mini-ITX gaming cards like the Nano become a growing trend in the future.

Well, I think the availability will improve as the HBM technology matures. I don't expect the next generation to have much of an issue there.

Are you talking about AMD's sales figures now? 😀
