Hey, I recognize your name and avatar from the FOK! forum. That alone brings back memories. I haven't been active there in a long time. 😀

I love how your site looks. The way how you applied the VGA font and the good old code page 437 line/box art correctly and consistently throughout the page, down to the dropdown menus and everything, that just feels like a nice warm blanket of nostalgia. You and your pals obviously put a lot of effort into it.

And the game club is a cool idea as well. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this.

By the way, did you deliberately pick Alone in the Dark as October's game with Halloween in mind? Or is that merely a coincidence? 😉

Ooooh, a fellow Fok!ker 😮 Haha, awesome. Definitely not a coincidence we're playing Alone in the Dark by the way, we thought it would be nice to play a spooky game for Halloween 😀

Anyway, we just released a new episode! And it's quite an amazing one, because it's about The Secret of Monkey Island, which we played in September: https://www.dosgameclub.com/monkey-island/

Yeah, a real bummer that I missed out on Monkey Island month. I absolutely love that game. Of course, that's no reason not to pick it up and play it myself, game of the month or not. 😉

Hey, I know it may be a year away, but for October 2019, may I suggest Grim Fandango? I never played that game until the Remastered release came out more recently. I haven't finished it yet, but it's definitely one of the classics deserving of its own dedicated game month. And given how its story centers around the Day of the Dead, it would also be quite an appropriate game for October. 😀

Anyway, keep up the fun! Great work.

Hey guys, just want to let you know we're still at it!

In December we played a bunch of smaller games (Ugh!, Bolo Ball, Micro's Dilemma II, Lode Runner, Alley Cat and MinerVGA): https://www.dosgameclub.com/six-small-games/

In January we played Wasteland, the 1988 post-apocalyptic open world RPG that is the precursor to Fallout: https://www.dosgameclub.com/wasteland/

In our latest episode we talk about 1988's surgery simulator Life & Death: https://www.dosgameclub.com/life-and-death/

Next up will be Blood, which we played in March. This month is dedicated to Blackthorne!

I remember playing that game as a kid. Tough game! I never succeeded in carrying out a successful surgery. That profession just isn't for me I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
