Capcom has released a new update for the PC version of Resident Evil 3 Remake that removes the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Now while this anti-tamper tech did not affect the game’s performance, I’m pretty sure that some gamers will be grateful that the game does no longer uses it.

This isn’t really surprising for those of us that have been following Capcom’s PC releases. In 2019, the Japanese company also removed Denuvo from Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Resident Evil 3 is a reimagining of the 1999 release of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. The remake incorporates fresh ideas and utilizes the latest technology, leveraging Capcom’s proprietary RE Engine. In addition to putting a fresh twist on the original’s story and setting, the game boasts new play experiences. Furthermore, the title gives players the chance to enjoy both single-player and multiplayer modes.

Haven't verified myself yet.
