Uh, if you actually read that page, LSD, you'd notice that Windows 2000 doesn't enter 'extended' period until 2005 and doesn't reach 'end-of-life' until 2008. WinME is 2003 and 2005, respectively.

One thing I wonder about. Once an OS has passed it's "life-cycle" does Microsoft still intend to enforce the EULA on dead OS's?
Seems to me the whole basis for the EULA is support, and if that is eradicated...
(I already know the answer to this... I'm just daydreaming).

I've read it in the past, they've chnaged it since the last time though. Last I read it, ME had a few more months on 2k because it was a strict 5 years from release lifecycle.
