it's almost 9 months ago that I worked with Mills to create a veeery simple and lightweight menu launcher CGA/MDA compatible:

The difference from others is:

• Automatic list creation (by executing menugen.py in your modern machine)
• Native thumbnails in pure CGA. It will create the thumbnail to something displayable in ansi.
• Simple as hell

It's open to anyone who is willing to collaborate, fork, or whatever.
