Just realized, that I forgot to ask you about the spec-sheet 5.25" cover - how and what did you print it on? Still looks awesome 😀

Great pictures and nice looking system. I like the specs-sheet on the bay cover 👍

I never had an early P4 but I did have an Elsa Gladiac 920 in a i815e build back in 2001 😀

Thank you. Legendary GPU!

Did it in photoshop and printed in normal A4 adesive paper. Nothing special

Thanks to this video from PhilsComputerLab: https://youtu.be/wd9lQ8o_NKI for inspiring me to build this PC.

this is a highly specced P3 era PC in an innocent looking case 😀

Ha yes I know, I've already changed it to something a bit fancier, but still period correct, have a look at the new photos. The other one I'm now using for a Socket 7 build, more appropriate I think.

My ever evolving space for my PC projects. The Dell CRT is connected to a 4 port KVM, so I have 4 computers connected... the CFD case just below the monitor is a killer AMD 133 (586) industrial machine and there's an awesome 386 33Mhz DX in the cabinet along with a Shuttle XPC Athlon 64. The 4th computer is whatever else I'm building, so nothing setup at the moment- having a hard time finding AT cases.

AMD DX4 133
DOS/Win 3.11
8gb memory
Startech CF adapter
Gotek Floppy
Creative Vibra 16
Everything else is integrated.
Belkin Omni KVM
Dell D1028L Monitor
1990 Lexmark Model-M
RS232 Wifi

My current machine (Full Specs & other details) - not a particularly tidy build but the speakers take up quite a bit of space!

Exquisit setups people, very nice.

I'm posting this because this delightful forum unfortunately lacks a Thumbs Up or Like button.

i386 16 ⇒ i486 DX4 100 ⇒ Pentium MMX 200 ⇒ Athlon Orion 700 | TB 1000 ⇒ AthlonXP 1700+ ⇒ Opteron 165 ⇒ Dual Opteron 856

This is my 386SX-25 PC I built for 1987-1989 games. I will be replacing it with an actual i286-16 and more period correct hardware as soon as I find a working on 5.25" drive though. There is a green two digit MHz display under the black plastic panel on the front.

This is my U5S-33 PC I built for 1990-1992 games. It is a near exact configuration as my own PC from 1993, except mine had an i486DX-33. The case I used for this build happens to be sold the same OEM company I bought my 486 from - Microstar International (although my case was a full tower with a front door). It even has a service sticker on the back detailing an I/O card replacement as a repair under warranty.

This is my Pentium-133 PC I built for 1993-1995 games. I eventually got a Pentium-133 in 1997, but never owned a Voodoo 1 and made do with a Sound Blaster 16. The small black plastic panel on top left slides to reveal the keylock hole and there is also a red 3 digit MHz display underneath it.

New tyan build

I like that combination of a recent case and the old tech.

What CPU are you running on the Tyan? I have a similar board (cache in COAST though, which I literally had to rig for it did not alwys made proper contact), and have two P233MMX running in it.
