Hello all,

This is my first video of what I hope to be a series of builds and projects. I hope to differentiate myself from the many other builders by adding Canadian content (this is mostly for future builds, as this one in fact contains NO Canadian content hah) and explaining some of the stuff in French as well. Also maple syrup.

Annoyingly, I can't add comments to my videos. I will have to do the next batch pre-upload.

LMK what you think - I have a lot of material I'll be going through. I'm using a Linux computer (an old Dell Precision 7500) for the editing, using Openshot.

Any suggestions are welcome.

The French part is captioned, turn on CC for it.

hi, very good first video, keep doing more builds.

i can't say so much about video quality because my internet limits youtube up to 144p (utter crap). the audio is good but could be better: try to record in noiseless environments, see if you can get a microphone, but you will have to sync and join the audio and video later.

anyway, good video.

edit: in the speed-up parts, you can mute the sound and put some kind of music, you can search for Youtube Audio Library, that way it's a little bit more confortable in those scenes.

I'm actually working on a video that I recorded over a month ago and the dubbing of the video is a TERRIBLY LONG PROCESS. This is why I have chosen to do it "live". I don't know how LGR and 8 bit guy do it... I'm sure I'll get it with time. Muting the chipmunk noise is a good idea, I will incorporate that. As well as not leaving the damn water on haha.

If you saw what kind of mic I'm using for the narration part (the other video I'm working on) you'd get a good laugh. I need to get some proper equipment I think, especially audio. I borrow a Canon Vixia and a tripod to do the filming.

Thanks for the feedback.

You can get one of these microphones that goes in the shirt. To "kill" noise, when editing use filters, audacity has some
