It's the time of year again when the local area has hard rubbish collection.. and that means finding the odd PC here and there before the scrappers come along and ruin the cases or cords looking for scrap copper and metal.
Found a few over the last couple of days.
Australian Computer Recyclers .... old company now defunct. I remember buying used parts from them in the late 90's early 00's
Biostar M6VCF mATX + Mendocino 500
Has Number Nine SR6 Savage 4 AGP + Banshee PCI. I may repurpose the Savage to a Pentium II system, and transfer the Banshee to a K6 without AGP (currently has a STMicro Kyro PCI). I've never used a Savage, but i presume it will be about TNT speed.
I might swap the Biostar out for a a full ATX one of the other roadside find S370 mobos for ASUS (CUSL2-C) or Gigabyte GA-6BX7
Also a 486DX find (case was damaged)
