Hi,
I'm working for quite some time on this config now:
Amd 386DX40
IIT 4C87DL-40
16MB (4x4MB) FPM 60ns (1-1 Wait states)
256KB L2 15ns
UMC481/482 chipsets based mainboard
Cirrus Logic CL-GD5429 1MB DRAM 60ns ISA video card
UMC 865/863 I/O controller
Yamaha YMF719E-S ISA audio card
Seagate ST3660A 520MB IDE disk
I've still some space in the bios tweaks to speed up a bit the whole system (Zero wait states and 2 BCLK I/ recovery delay) but the vga already seems to stress this older system a bit on the stability side but anyway everything works.
This are the Phil bench results:
3DBench 1.0: 15.8
3DBench 1.0c: 15.6
PCPlayer 320x240: 3,9
PCPlayer 640x480: 1,5
