Well, today was one filled with joy as I put the final touches on our system, the one I built for one of my best friends, and a few that I will be parting with once I finish getting them fine-tuned. I really had fun building these and, much to my surprise, learned quite a bit that I did not know before which I've put to good use both on some of my more modern systems and at work.

I may try and track down one of the old Shuttle PCI-only Socket-370 SFF systems providing I can find a Hoontech SoundTrack Digital XG which was based upon the Yamaha YMF744. Unfortunatly they seem to be quite rare which is not surprising due to the coax/TOSLINK input/output daughterboard and the impressive SB Pro support which does not require EMM386 and runs native on the board. But that is a project for another time. ^__^
