Same board they sell "cheap" here http://cgi.ebay.com/Intel-AA668325-503-Socket … 1QQcmdZViewItem

Intel cut down the slots even more than Micronics did....that's what I don't link about my Micronics board..had to sacrifice an ISA slot just to have a networkcard, Voodoo 1, Matrox Millenium, AWE32....would have been nice to have a GUS or MPU 401 card in it too

Talking about dual p pro stuff..what do you guys tjink of this quad cpu beast? 😉

Will use it as a file server when I move into my new appartment in December...might throw in Win98SE and dual boot with win2000 server to enjoy some retro gaming as well, hehe

Hmmm... 1 pizza box, 1 can of Super77 Spray Adhesive, 1 roll of Aluminum foil.... ah yes I can see it now. Next time I build it up all i'll need is an x-acto knife and I might just be able to fab one up.

You think that's bad? You should see my XT counting all 32MB of EMS memory.

I need an EMS card that is 11 inches (or less) in length. Necessary to fit into a shortish 286 XT case. Anyone got any suggestions? Must have at least 2mb of LIM 4.0 compliant EMS memory.

I forgot to mention...since it's for a Tandy 1000, it needs to work in an 8-bit ISA slot!

[I tried to delete this post, as I didn't want to hijack the thread with my EMS request...but the option was unavailable to me. Sorry for my distraction.]

User "Anonymous Coward" has pointed me to a nice Acculogic RAMPAT! card, and even gave me an ebay link where I was able to purchase it! Hopefully it will arrive fully functional and I will be enjoying LIM 4 EMS computing goodness very soon!!! 😁

Benchmark from my MS6107 mobo with dual 1mb cpu's 😀

msi6107.th.png

no mega difference compared to my dual 512k cpu rig...it proves the 1mb cpu's are marginally faster in many circumstances

I was digging around and I found a couple of interesting links about the "Providence" board. In the first one, it shows the undocumented multiplier settings, including one setting that OC's to 266mhz. In the second one, a poster talks about the ability for the board to use up to 1GB of ram.
