That made me laugh!
But with the old clock, phones and all that is one seriously cool room!

Haha, that yellow mobile by the printer is a Nokia 5110, right?

Yep, it's my everyday phone. In the past I used the 7110 until it broke down, so now I use the 5110 til I will find another 7110 elsewhere. It has a new battery too.

Cheers, I had a 7110 for ages!

It also doubles as a personal anti-mugging device. Like a sock full of quarters, but more discrete (and more durable).

Scored 3 matching Dell screens from work, so can now have a 3 screen setup on my "almost main" PC. Also managed to get most PC's to have a 2nd screen if supported.

My quickly growing shelf of retro things, off to the side of my main desk. Need to get a more proper desk surface for the mouse and keyboard, but this is at least usable right now.

Recently moved into my first studio apartment. Most of my collection is in storage at my parents' house, but I have set aside a little hobby corner in my walk-in closet. Just finished getting this set up:

My Pentium is on the floor to the left, but I still have to figure out a KVM solution to switch between it and the 386.

PCs, Macs, old and new... too much stuff.

I keep thinking I'm going to finish my desk but I never do, so here's a quicky of my actual desk (it's not very retro, but I work on retro stuff here and the rolling cart that sits to my left hand has power and my soldering kit):

Yes, it's RGB lighting, as you might detect from the remote on the right. The desk will eventually be recovered with dry-erase material (I have the roll I just have to do it, been a rough winter and summer). It'a basically a kitchen table, two black steel wire shelves on either side, filled with computers and other gear, which I will get a pic of when I get the cables organized. There's a 2x6 mounted with rifle scope rings (seriously, they're 1" uprights on the shelves, used 1" rifle scope rings) to the shelves at the back and monitor mounts attached to that.

I built the AMD main machine, the monitor on the upper left is on my file server which is on the left lower shelf, and the desktop on the left is a Lenovo i5 all-in-one with appropriate onscreen plumage.

Right now it's covered in hard drives, usb sticks, notepads, a multimeter, an open Zeos 386 power supply, a couple of Mac DB-15 to HD-15 adapters, a bottle of militec lubricant, a can of Deoxit, a Matrox Millenium that failed initial tests, and a shift knob from a Mazda RX-8.

Sorry that list kind of got away from me.

Oh, and the file server, which is really just a cheapo homebuilt with a lot of drives, and there's a Drobo on it but I doubt I'll keep that (like kittens, Drobos should alway come in pairs):

And here's the Zeos because I mentioned it (finally, some retro content!):

Looks great - would love to have a little corner like this for an old machine. Nice that you found a desk deep enough to let you have enough space for the keyboard.

A few posts up is my picture of my new desk, but it still didn't allow a proper retro corner! So I finally got another desk so I have enough room for retroing 😀

Now I can finally use my CRT and speakers!
