The motherboard is made by MBL USA and it was imported in Romania by MBL Computerland, one of the first resellers after 1990's (before 1990 we was in communism and the imports was prohibited).
The case has an Turbo button but the mainboard is set using a jumper to run only with turbo mode on.
Regarding the sound card, I will use an Sound Blaster 16 and the HDD which currently has only a few MB left, will be replaced with a Conner 170 MB drive.

I am finished building and configuring all my retro desktop systems (most components are new, recapped and/or cleaned), so why not share these puppies on vogons 😊

All systems are equipped with SDD's (ranging from 32GB-64GB), because they are reliable, silent and most importantly fast.

My interest is mainly old Windows 3D race, action and FPS games, so no 486 systems for me anymore, the DOS games that I like run on the PII too.

This guy is VERY much a WIP (at some point I want to get a 4x512MB ECC RAM kit, a better graphics card, and a case that isn't trash and has both sidepanels), but here it is as it sits.

SuperMicro P3TDDE
2x 1266MHz Tualatin P3's
1x 512MB PC133 ECC (generic brand with Samsung chips)
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB w/ heatsink from MX4000 (stock cooler's fan was incredibly obnoxious and the coolers swap out literally perfectly)
Riptide PC80079
30GB DiamondMax 8 (onboard IDE, used for Windows and a few programs)
40GB DiamondMax 8 (FastTrak 100 since the IDE controller has issues with drives over 32GB, used for games)
Rosewill RV350
Windows XP Pro SP3

Zenith: 2x 1266MHz PIII, Supermicro P3TDDE, 1x 512MB PC133 ECC, Radeon 9600 Pro 128MB, 80GB Barracuda 7200.9 (OS+Programs) + 160GB Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 (games), Windows XP Pro SP3

Same here. The one thing that was a huge downfall was the optical drives and the floppy drive needed the rails in order to install them properly.

I actually like that as it made drive swaps very easy. I will say that it wasn't very volume efficient.

One thing I miss about the case was the amount of hard drive mounts, and 5.25" expansion bays.

The GX1 all the way atop the pile joined my hoard today and is currently undergoing minor cosmetic repairs.
