Hello everyone! I recently stumbled across this board while in the middle of a nostalgia attack, and I've quickly become obsessed with building replicas of my old PC(s) from way back in the 1995 - 1998 timeframe. I will be putting everything together soon, but here's what I've picked up so far. I'm very excited!!

Both builds will be inside some older (but in fantastic shape) Enlight mid-towers. Just gotta sort out what's gonna go where...

I look forward to sharing more pix as my projects come together!

Sounds like a fun couple of builds 😁 I've seen those cases for really cheap on eBay, they look quite nice. Keep us posted! 😀

PCs, Macs, old and new... too much stuff.

As promised, here's some pix of the items I have so far.

At this point, the first mid-tower has:

I will probably swap out the soundcard with the Diamond Monster Sound MX300 + Yamaha daughterboard.

The second build will have:

    Orchid Righteous 3d (Voodoo 1) 4MB
    Matrox Millenium II 8MB PCI

Every time I see an Enlight case, it makes me want to kick a puppy. Other than that, i love the rest of the pictures!

It is a mistake to think you can solve any major problems just with potatoes.

Loved those old Enlight cases, had a couple of the desktop versions in the same design. Shame I had to sell them though to make room for larger things Lol 😈

Not sure I see the appeal. I've a loft full of crap I should have dumped as I upgraded (still got a crappy beige ... yellow now of course case up there FFS!). To me an old machine is just cranky, difficult, slow and noisy 😀

My 386 aside, none of them are cranky difficult or noisy. 😁
