is your fic 2013 the 2mb version? if so have you tried your 3+ in it? will you be willing to benchmark it for us? My socket 7 department is a bit lean compared to the rest of my stuff, and I've been looking for a cheap 2013.

Unfortunately it is only with 1mb cache and does not have the onboard hardware monitoring either. All of the boards I have are 1mb cache apart from the Ali5 , TX and SIS530 boards which have 512kb cache. I will post some pics when I get the chance.

Welcome! You've got some nice hardware! We all love pics, so it would be cool if you shared some 😀 I'm curious about P5A mobos, what are they capable of and what chipset do they have?

P5A has the Ali Aladdin5 chipset with 512k onboard cache. Versions 5 and 6 of the motherboard will not run K6plus processors so you have to find versions 4 and below to run these.
