True in a way but since i dont have any other Slot 1 mobos its fine and less running on the mobo the better 98SE will be in terms of speed and the 2nd CPU only works in windows 2000

Or i can get a Socket 370 mobo i can use the Intel Pentium III 1GHZ 512KB L2 133BUS or a Super socket 7 for my AMD K6-III 550MHZ

That's for a riser card, when you use the board in a rackmount case. I believe it will also function as a regular PCIe x8 slot though, just leaving the extended portion unused.

have you considered dual booting with windows XP or trying out the windows 98se dual core support patch?

I am keeping 98SE on Single Core and waiting for the Asus Kill card for the Slot 1 so i can move the CPU to another rig and run on 1! And i did some testing and got Descent 2 Vertigo DOS to run in an Emulated S3 VirgeDX 4MB AKA 3D Stealth 2000 PRO Via VESA DOS Driver and i can even just use a single Radeon 9550 AGP on the rig with an EMU 3DFX driver but i like to use the legit hardware!

S3 Trio2D/3D PCI 2mb ( Acting funny @ 24BIT Colour)
