The level of quality on that thing was completely inexcusable at any level. Dave figures that this abomination was made available to the client. I'm not sure if that's true, but even if this is an internal mockup or proof of concept, the overall workmanship is embarrassing. Whoever built this thing should never work in electronics ever again.
This makes that white box stereo system Dave tore down look good and solid.

That was horrible in the scrap business tearing into electronics I have seen some hack jobs and other odd things like jokes or even a memorial engraved on a PCB, but its insane that was consider to be a medical grade product defiantly hand made 🤣
